Developed for quality and durability, Sidekick’s Ultimate, Ultimate 2.0 and Ultimate 3.0 boxing gloves have gained a great reputation over the years and have even been endorsed by knockout artists and kickboxing world champions.
The Ultimate X boxing gloves are the latest in line of their Ultimate model ancestors. The Ultimate X Boxing Gloves are Sidekick’s latest design of the Ultimate glove celebrating their 10 years anniversary.

These Kickboxing gloves come in a nice size that fit snug to the hands. With an easily-fastened velcro closure, these gloves are easy to put on and take off.

Crafted from a very high grade of cowhide leather, Sidekick’s Ultimate X Boxing Gloves are an ergonomically-designed glove prioritising comfort.
On the palm, it features a mesh panel to allow air flow and breathing to the hands. Even though the air flow panel is to serve a purpose and may help the gloves dry out inside even when not in use. However, the material doesn’t offer the same quality as the leather.
Protection: 8.5/10
The boxing gloves are well padded that after weeks of testing it did not start to break down. The wrist has a good-size single wrist strap that secures nicely, we’re as the other previous Ultimate boxing gloves featured a double wrist strap which gives very good protection to the wrist area.

These Ultimate X are double stitched throughout and have no loose threads. After intense testing these gloves are not showing any signs of wear.
As lightly detailed above, Sidekick’s Ultimate X Boxing Gloves are durable as a result of a combination of their high-grade cowhide leather materials as well as high-density foam.

At a price of just £49.99 it is a lot of glove for the money. There are many equivalent boxing gloves on the market that retail around £100. There are also still cheaper gloves available but they probably won’t match the quality.
